“Right next to lift 1 at the base, where there are chairs to sit and enjoy the view. Comfortable room with full kitchen. Just what I was looking for, a quiet, cool place to escape the heat and do some hiking. If you’ve never done it, Williams Lake is my favorite hike in New Mexico. Prior to July 4 (and maybe after) the restaurants at the ski area are only open Th-Sun. So if you don’t bring food, you have to drive back to Taos.”

“We had a great stay. The hotel appears to be newly renovated, and everything felt fresh, clean, and modern. Our suite was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful new bathroom. The kitchenette was very convenient, featuring a microwave, small refrigerator, and plenty of storage space. Having two TVs was also a nice bonus. Overall, the room was well-equipped, spotless, and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!”

“Where do I start on the wonderful stay we had at Hacienda del Sol? We arrived late for check in, but it was not a problem at all as the considerate staff at this wonderful B&B left instructions on how to get onsite, where to park (for free), and codes to the property and our room door. We had a large warm and very welcoming bedroom with a fireplace, a comfy couch and a rocking chair. The bathroom was huge with a jacuzzi style soaking tub, and a separate shower and toilet. “Enjoyed staying here for 1 night. Wonderful courtyard area that was a great place to relax. This is an older property that has been upgraded in a boutique artistic way. I would stay here again.”

“The cabin was beautiful inside. It was very clean and had all the comforts of home. Just a short walk from our cabin was an awesome fire pit with free s’mores and corn hole boards. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Wonderful stay. The place has been around for 90 years so, it is rustic in some ways.. The room was cozy comfy. Enjoyed the cool, fresh air when the windows were open at night. Evaporative cooler was nice too, when needed. Overall a very Zen place to stay.”

“The property was being rennovated so there was the typical challenges with construction and maintianing a business. Room was recently refurbished and clean but not well furnished. Perhaps this will happen later. The shower was wonderful!!! Parking was a challenge but again construction took some of the space. Room was priced fairly for the inconvenience. Manager was very friendly and helpful.”
